Aim of Module
This module aims to provide participants with opportunities to acquire the knowledge and competences that will enable them to develop as effective, reflective and student-centred facilitators of learning.
Module learning outcomes
On successful completion of this module, you will be able to:
- Demonstrate a systematic understanding of pedagogical principles and practices in the context of further/higher education.
- Select from complex and advanced skills and teaching methods in order to respond to a wide and often unpredictable range of situations in various pedagogical contexts.
- Demonstrate a capacity to take significant responsibility for the work of individuals and groups.
- Demonstrate an ability to lead and initial activity in a pedagogical context.
- Reflect on her/his learning and practice, self evaluate in relation to same, and take responsibility for her/his continuing academic and professional development.
