Moodle Assignment Activities for Assessment Types

Would you like to explore the assessment activities in Moodle from the Summative, Formative, and Authentic assessment scenarios?

There are several assessment options available – that you can add to your module/course area in Moodle.

This session will serve as a guide to using Moodle to support and enhance your module assessment.

In this session, I will:

• Outline the different types of assessment activities available in Moodle
• Exploring combinations of configuration, the Assignment activity can be used both for formative assessment and summative evaluation.
• Bring you through a step-by-step DEMO of how to add an assessment to your module
• Show you the student view – what they see and how they can upload their assignment
• Show you the lecturer view – how you can see the submissions, open them, give feedback and a grade using the feedback editor
