Musculoskeletal Disorder Awareness Training 9-11am

Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD) are injuries and disorders that affect the human body’s movement or musculoskeletal system i.e. muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, discs or blood vessels.

MSD Training focuses on helping people understand how the body works and through this knowledge enabling them to make informed decisions about how they might prevent injury happening or becoming worse.

No matter what we do in life or when we all have to do some sort of physical activity, even lying down or standing in the same place takes some physical effort and can place a strain on the body.

Preventing injury happening of preventing an injury getting worse can only happen if we make a conscious decision to change how we think and do any physical activity whether its at home or in our social or work activities.

This short course (2 hours) provides enough information in a relatively non-technical way to make the judgements necessary to improve our physical well-being.

This 2-hour course will be run 3 times on Monday 29th August 2022, with 12 places available for each session.

  • 9am-11am
  • 11.30am-1.30pm
  • 2pm-4pm

This is the booking for the session at 9am-11am. The training will take place in the Tourism & Leisure building in room number TL-252.
