Identifying and Responding to Distressed and at Risk Students
This is a bespoke mental health promotion and suicide prevention programme, to resource frontline third level staff in identifying vulnerable students and linking them with support services when needed.
The aim is to provide staff who have daily contact with students with the knowledge and skills needed to identify and respond to distressed and at risk students and to make appropriate referrals to professional support services. This will facilitate early intervention and increase the likelihood of positive personal and academic outcomes.
This event will be delivered in person on the Cork Road Campus in Room TL235.
