TEL Community of Practice – Generative AI and new approaches to assessment in liberal Arts

Our next Community of Practice event Time to retire the red pen? Generative AI and new approaches to assessment in liberal Arts modules takes place at 1pm on Tuesday November 28th.

Dr Jenny O’Connor, reflects on the journey (to date!) of coming to terms with some of the questions, challenges and opportunities that have been presented by GenAI and discusses the ushering in of new approaches to teaching and assessment in subjects like English that traditionally relied on text-based assessment.

There will be an opportunity for discussion, questions, and answers at the end of the presentation.

This will be a hybrid event hosted in the Growth Hub, Cork Road Campus as well on Zoom. We will be producing a recording of the event to be shared shortly afterward.

Tea, coffee, and refreshments will be provided during the event. NOTE: A Zoom link will be provided on the day.
