TEL Community of Practice: Lisa Donaldson

Lisa Donaldson is the Academic Programme Manager at the Irish College of General Practitioners having recently joined from Dublin City University (DCU). She is currently focused on leading the blended learning and eportfolio initiatives to best support the trainee learning experience.

Lisa’s educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Business & IT, postgraduate qualifications in Teaching & Learning, and an M.Sc. in Applied Elearning. She was the winner of the teaching support category of the DCU President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching 2022, DCU’s first Advance HE Senior Fellow in 2020, and Learning Technologist of the Year (Association of Learning Technology) 2018.

In this talk, Lisa will look at the building blocks of successful blended learning. what works and why and the approaches employed by the ICGP and DCU to ensure student success.
