TEL Community of Practice – Restorative Practice & Academic Integrity

Dr. Cathal Ryan and Dr. Fionnuala Brennan, School of Humanities, will be delivering a session on Restorative Practice and Academic Integrity. The National Academic Integrity Network advocates ‘a restorative approach, that embeds the principles of academic integrity are fundamental to ensuring successful outcomes’ (NAIN 2023, p.4). Fionnuala and Cathal will share their experience of using restorative approaches to promote academic integrity on the Higher Certificate in Custodial Care. 

There will be an opportunity for discussion, questions, and answers at the end of the presentation.

This will be a hybrid event hosted in the Growth Hub, Cork Road Campus as well on Zoom. We will be producing a recording of the event to be shared shortly afterward.

Tea, coffee, and refreshments will be provided during the event. NOTE: A Zoom link will be provided on the day.
