TEL Community of Practice: The enabling impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on teaching innovation
This presentation explores research by Dr Margret Tynan and Clare Kearney on the challenges of engaging in innovative teaching practices pre and during emergency remote teaching, a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic. This research illustrates that in the case of the Business School, significant changes occurred across enabling factors for innovation in teaching as a result of the pandemic. The sudden, unplanned movement to emergency remote teaching a shift in challenges to innovation became evident, thereby enabling innovation potential.
