TEL Community of Practice – The GenAI Generation: Graduating as a Disruptor, and not as a Disrupted.

Dear colleagues

Our next Community of Practice event “The GenAI Generation: Graduating as a Disruptor, and not as a Disrupted“ takes place at 1pm on Tuesday October 15th.

In this CoP session, we are joined by Dr Aidan Duane, Programme Director for the Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Business Information Systems to discuss his vision to create graduates who understand how to thrive as GenAI enabled disruptors in their chosen field.

‘Students commencing university today will emerge from undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to an employment landscape utterly transformed by artificial intelligence. Our graduates will not compete with AI in the labor market, but they will compete with AI enabled graduates’. 

There will be an opportunity for discussion, and questions and answers at the end of the presentation.

This will be a hybrid event hosted in the Growth Hub, Cork Road Campus and on Zoom. We will be producing a recording of the event to be shared shortly afterward.

Tea, coffee, and refreshments will be provided during the event.
