Turnitin is a platform that provides originality checking. It is an assignment activity that can be added into your course area in Moodle.

Turnitin solutions promote academic integrity, streamline grading and feedback, deter plagiarism, and improve student outcomes.

This session will cover:

  • what Turnitin is
  • when to use Turnitin
  • what is plagiarism
  • how to add a Turnitin activity to Moodle
  • how to view the similarity report

We will have a Q&A session towards the end of the training session.
